The place
Velika Remeta is a quiet village in the heart of Fruška Gora, surrounded by forests, vineyards and orchards. It is known for its 15th-century monastery, whose baroque bell tower stands 38.6 metres tall - the highest of all the Fruška Gora monasteries.
Just a hundred metres from the house springs the celebrated Ubavac, one of the mountain’s best-loved water sources. The surroundings are laced with walking and cycling trails, and everything is a few minutes’ drive away.
The house
Casa Remeta is a spacious, light-filled and warmly furnished holiday house for the whole family or a group of friends. Three bedrooms, a bathroom, a cosy living room and a fully equipped kitchen make it perfect for longer stays in any season.
Three bedrooms, each sleeping two - just right for six guests. And if needed, a seventh guest can comfortably sleep on the large sofa in the living room.

The house sits on a generous 1000 m² plot with a trampoline, swing, BBQ and a fire pit - wrapped in the forest of Fruška Gora. Room for kids to run and grown-ups to unwind by the fire under the stars.

Backup power when the village grid goes down.
Water comes from our own natural well, so pressure is gentler than in the city and a tap may take a few seconds to wake up. The well water isn't for drinking, but no worries: bottled water is waiting in the kitchen, and hot water runs at all times. For the real mountain experience, the Ubavac spring is just 100 m away - it looks like a tiny church.
Casa Remeta sits in a small village, and that shapes a couple of things. Mobile signal is a bit shy and the Wi-Fi runs at around 15 Mbps - plenty for streaming and messaging, less so for a full day of video calls. Consider it a gentle nudge to unplug.
